Very well said. I am an RN in a hospital and the same issue arises here daily. The housekeepers, PCT's, transporters, and RN's are all wearing the same uniform. When mistaken for a nurse, some of them have even been heard to take credit for it. This is a growing problem.

LOL. When my daughter was three months old, I had her lying on her back on the bed changing her diaper. After swabbing her off, and before putting on the new diaper, I lifted her fanny up in the air to show my wife how adorable her cute, pink, flailing legs were.

Then she peed on me, straight in my face. Gross, but it was kinda cute too.

Have you ever thought about freelance writing? When first starting out, you do sometimes have to write for free and there's a lot of waiting around to see if your work is accepted but the results are faster than writing a book. You should pick up a copy of the book Writer Mama by Christina Katz. It's a wonderful book that explains how moms can stay at home and make a living as freelance writers. I think it would help you out a lot.

But don't get too down on yourself. As a stay-at-home mom, I know exactly how you're feeling. Just think of how much you'd be missing if you went back to work! :)

In case anyone is wondering, the book is unbelievably great. It has me hooked and dreaming about the characters once I fall asleep reading late into the night, of course.

"I want that life. I want that interview. I want the agent, the editor, the publisher, the book tour. I want three completed manuscripts in four years. I want readers to come to me and tell me how much my book has changed them."

I hear you, I really hear you. I still dream of that.
